Supporting a Community Project

Dorset Community Action helps businesses to make a start on their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) journey. CSR considers how businesses can play a positive role in their community, and the environmental and social impact of business decisions. It is closely linked to sustainability by how businesses create economic, social, and environmental value.  DCA can connect your business with a range of community & neighbourhood projects for you to support and start you off on developing your CSR strategy.

Businesses choose to work with us because of our 50 years experience of the community sector, ability to engage with people in Dorset’s hard to reach communities, and network of 285 members, and 3303 subscribing organisations. We live and breathe Dorset’s communities. As a registered charity, we have the governance and financial management systems in place to ensure your funds are used effectively.

DCA can work with you to develop opportunities to:

  • Sponsor or fund projects benefitting local communities
  • Help develop people, neighbourhoods, and places through practical community projects
  • Get started by undertaking a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) survey to tell us your needs.
