Would you like to help our NHS and local community to save lives and get us back to ‘normal’? If you have experience of coordinating volunteers – we need you.
CAN has been commissioned by the NHS to recruit and support volunteer marshals to help people attending COVID-19 vaccination appointments.
We’re working with Volunteer Centre Dorset to deliver this, initially for three months.
You will support and co-ordinate volunteers, as well as being a key member of the vaccination team.
You’ll be supported by our Volunteering Development Lead and full training will be given.
Due to the short timeframe a secondment is being offered and your employer will be able to invoice CAN for your salary and expenses during the time you are with us.
You’ll be a can do person who likes to work in a multiagency team and independently. You’ll be super organised and understand and value the role of volunteers.
