Would you like to help inform how local people can get home from hospital safely and quickly, plus prevent them being admitted in the first place? Do you enjoy researching and putting forward innovative solutions?
We are been commissioned by Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group to undertake an exciting action research project in partnership with Dorset Community Action and working alongside NHS colleagues.
Come and join our dynamic team working to develop system understanding of how the voluntary and community sector can contribute to meeting the needs of patients on discharge from hospital and to avoid hospital admission, including building on learning from national Home First initiatives.
You’ll have a good understanding about the role of the voluntary and community sector and our part in the wider health and care system in Dorset.
You’ll enjoy planning researching and reporting on projects that make a positive difference to the local community, along with being a good communicator able to quickly establish excellent working relationships.
What we can offer in return
In return we offer a competitive salary and great benefits, including contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday (pro-rata) plus all bank holidays, season train ticket loan, flexible working and much more.
