DCA – Community Training Consultant (Part-time 22 hours)
Based in Dorchester or Wimborne
£28,403 (Pro rata £16,888)

Are you a dynamic person with experience of working in the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector, looking for a more hands-on role?

If so, then this is a great opportunity to join an ambitious Dorset charity, helping charities and community groups to fulfil their ambitions. 

The post holder will play an essential role in the development and delivery of consultancy and training in support of VCSE organisations in Dorset, as an integral member of the DCA Team.

 To be successful, you will likely:

  • Be able to use your skills to deliver support to set up, develop and mentor new community enterprises, projects, and services.
  • Have experience delivering research, strategic assessment & planning, data analysis and evaluation reports in a consultancy capacity.
  • Have experience of training development and delivery on various topics related to community development and engagement
  • Be a self-starter and enjoy engaging with a wide range of people and stakeholders.

This is a part time role (22 hours per week, to be worked over 3 days though this is negotiable). The post holder will be mainly working from home, with an office base at DCA’s offices in Dorchester or Wimborne.
