Rural services & Economy

DCA works to protect rural services and assist in the development of the rural economy through finding local solutions to maintaining and making better use of valuable services, such as community buildings, village pubs, post offices, broadband and affordable housing.

We have wide experience of supporting community groups and initiatives to combat the problems caused by social isolation and rejeuvenate rural communities. Through our advice, training and consultancy services we have worked with rural communities to establish rural transport links, improve or replace community buildings, and improving services such as post office, community shops and pubs.
