Getting funding is key to success for all not-for-profit groups and finding the right funders for your project or service maximises your chance of obtaining that funding. Our Funding Service can help you increase your chance of funding success and develop more sustainable income streams by assessing your legal structure, help you identify relevant funders and assist you with your funding bids. To find out more go to ‘Request an Advisor’ at the top of this page.
|Fundfinder Tool||This is a service that is provided free of charge to community groups by Dorset Council. Once registered the group will receive emails to let them know about new funding available for their group. They can also go on the site directly to search for funding specifically for their group.|
|Dorset Charitable Trusts||If you are looking for local trusts, Dorset Community Foundation offers this on-line database.|
|Funding Central||Funding Central lists thousands of funding and finance opportunities and there’s also a wealth of tools supporting you to develop a sustainable income strategy.|
|Grants4Schools||Grants4Schools is the UK’s most comprehensive and up to date UK grant funding information service. Updated on a daily basis, Grants4Schools informs you of grant funding opportunities from the European Union, UK Government Agencies, the Lottery as well as Grant Making Trusts & Foundations.|
Throughout the year we hold various events across Dorset such as training to develop funding strategies, getting ‘fit for funding’, how to find the right funders and making a case for support. We also hold annual Funding Fairs and Dragons’ Den-type events enabling you to discuss ideas directly with funders. We also host invited speakers from the National Lottery and other organisations at some of our networking events. You can see our upcoming events here.
