‘A Community Network Event’ 

Supporting Communities and Voluntary Organisations in Dorset

Keith Harrison from NHS Dorset (CCG) and Julie Wigg, DCA Community advisor,  invite you to come along to this networking event. If you represent a local community or voluntary group in North Dorset or are involved in local community activities that promote good health & wellbeing then come and network with others doing the same! Part One of this event is an informal meeting to hear about support available to local community or voluntary groups as well as current initiatives that are helping to improve health & wellbeing outcomes for local communities. Part Two is the opportunity to browse information displays and network.

Joanna Keats from Dorset Community Action will be giving a talk on saving money on fuel and keeping warm and healthy this winter.

Laura Cornette from Dorset Council will also be doing a short presentation.

Date: Thursday 23rd January 2020, 10.00am – 12.00 noon (9.45am registration)

Venue: Stour Connect Community Centre

Booking: Booking is essential as numbers are limited. 

Refreshments and biscuits will be provided free of charge.

You will also have the opportunity to promote your organisation and raise any support that you may need from the community under our section ‘News from the floor’. Please feel free to bring along stands and displays of work you are doing.
