North Dorset Bite Sized Training – “Trustee Roles and Responsibilities

This two hour ‘Bite Size’ course, led by Dorset Community Action, is designed to give trustees an understanding of what is expected of them in their role, the responsibilities they should be aware of.

This bite size course is designed for trustees or committee members of all types of voluntary and community groups, from community libraries to pre-schools and lunch clubs. It is also suitable for those considering taking on the role of trustee.

 The course will cover:-

  • The general duties and responsibilities of trustees
  • Specific roles – chair, treasurer and secretary
  • How to have an effective board
  • Key policies and procedures overview

Date: 3rd March 2020, 9.45am registration for 10am start through to 12 noon

Venue: Stourpaine Village Hall

Cost: £30 pp for members, £40 pp for non members

Refreshments will be provided.
