Webinar – The Importance of Volunteering in Winter
Held on Wednesday 4th November 2020
We shall be discussing:
The support from volunteers during the Coronavirus crisis has been overwhelming, but it has really highlighted the loneliness that individuals in our community are living with. This loneliness will become more apparent as we move into the winter months, with shorter days and inclement weather. This webinar will help volunteers and groups consider what support they can offer their community during the winter months and also look at the different volunteering opportunities which may arise.
New Funding Opportunity from Dorset Council Explained – an opportunity to hear more about the new Dorset Council funding opportunity to support core costs and sustainability of Dorset’s cultural, community & voluntary organisations. Deadline 29th November.
New Government Guidance & Funding/Furlough Update – help to support groups to make sense of the latest Government Guidance around the second National Lockdown starts on Thursday and what it means for your Voluntary Group, Village Hall or Community Space.
