Any Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisation providing services to people within Dorset and its environs is generally eligible to become a Standard Member. Individuals who volunteer in their own right are also eligible to become a Standard Member.

All Statutory, Corporate bodies and Individuals not volunteering in the VCSE sector are eligible to become an Associate Member. Your organisation will still get the same great benefits as Standard Members with the exception of voting rights.

Cost of membership

Standard Membership – £25 Annual Fee for VCSE organisations with an annual income of over £1000. For VCSE organisations with an annual income of less than £1000 or for Individual VCSE Volunteers Standard Membership is free.

Associate Membership – £25 Annual Fee for Statutory/Corporate & non-VCSE Individuals.

Our Membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March. All existing members will be invited to renew the following April after they joined. Members of DCA, like other limited company charities, have a limited liability should the organisation become insolvent.  In DCA’s case the liability is set at a maximum of £1. Please read our Membership Terms & Conditions.
