Community Space & Room Hire

DCA manages the Community Learning & Resource Centre (CLaRC) in central Wimborne which is a space for the community to use and enjoy. Our aim is to provide the community of Dorset with affordable room hire either for regular classes, meetings, events or training sessions. We're here to make your venue hire both simple and efficient. Read more

Dorset’s Communities after Local Government Reorganisation - DCA Conference Report 2018

DCA's conference report looking at the impact of Local Government Reorganisation on the VCSE sector, and attended by members of the Shadow Cabinet. Recommendations include developing a VCSE sector engagement strategy with the Dorset Communities Forum, better engagement and networking of the VCSE sector with town and parish councils, and developing training for new Councillors to develop and promote a better understanding of the VCSE sector in Dorset.
