Trustee Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.

Trustees play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity’s work. They help to make the UK the sixth most giving country in the world.

In Dorset Voluntary organisations are asked to provide more services now, more than ever with unprecedented funding cuts.  Management and staff have to be more focussed on their day to day work and need trustees, that because of their specialist knowledge and experience can offer impartial support and great strategizing.  Trustees can bring innovation and creativity which can be an incredibly rewarding experience for all.
