PIKILILY in the UK is dedicated to female empowerment in Tanzania and supports the work of MJ Piki, a community-based organisation in Mwanza.  MJ Piki is transforming the lives of Tanzanian women by teaching them to ride motorcycles, and training them in basic bike maintenance and first aid.  Our riders will then operate motorcycle ambulances which will be used to reduce maternal mortality in remote areas of Tanzania.  Sheonagh Ravensdale will be a trustee of PIKILILY and has motorcycled through 45 countries herself!

Inspired by cooking in the refugee camps at Calais, Amanda and Clare set up SOUND KITCHEN - Wimborne's first fully vegan cafe. The café is 'pay as you feel' so you choose what you wish to pay. After covering costs any profit made goes to grass roots charities and to help Sound Kitchen do more. All food is produced with love and where possible locally sourced.

International Women's Day is on the 8th March - find out more here.
