Easy Steps to Evidencing Need

This course will help you understand why you need to gather evidence of need. Evidence of need is proof that clearly demonstrates why your project or service is needed. This evidence may be already available, or you may have to undertake consultations or research.

Course Aims To:

  • A need is a problem, situation or issue your project idea aims to address
  • Understanding the need you’ve identified helps design the best solution.
  • It is an essential element to successful project planning, it;

           -develops a clear understanding of the purpose of the project and its activity

           -focuses the project and helps it stay on track - project management 

-informs others why you are doing what you are doing

 By the end of this course you will:

  • Understand what evidence of need is and why it is important
  • Understand what evidence of need you need to collect
  • Know how to go about collecting evidence of need
  • Know how to use evidence of need with confidence when applying for funding

Venue: Blandford Fire Station, DT11 7PZ

Cost: £30 pp for voluntary and community groups, £40 pp for statutory groups
