Easy Steps to completing grant applications

This course will help you develop the knowledge and skills to write grant applications effectively and help make your application stand out from other proposals to get your project funded. This course will help you understand what funders are looking for from completed application forms, plan your answers and avoid being one of the 80% of applications that are rejected for not having the right information.

  • Understand the language and terminology used and what information is being asked for
  • Consider the different grant application styles and the pros and cons of each.

Who this course is for:-

  • You work in a voluntary and community organisation, charity or social enterprise and need to raise funding for your organisation but lack knowledge, experience or confidence to do so
  • You are a grants officer new to the role with little formal training or lack of knowledge and experience.
  • You have responsibility for fundraising and wish to discover if there is anything more you can do to improve your chance of success
  • You are looking to motivate and support others in your organisation.
