What will the impact of the Big Society & Comprehensive Spending Review be on Voluntary & Community Groups in Dorset?

On the 16th of November 2010 a county-wide voluntary and community sector event will be held to discuss the impacts of the Big Society & Comprehensive Spending Review on Voluntary & Community groups in Dorset.


Your voluntary or community organisation should be represented at this important event if your organisation:


  • currently takes part in the Dorset Strategic Partnership or any district or local partnership, or would like to in the future
  • has or may have in the future statutory contracts
  • has or may have in the future direct contracts with individuals for service provision

If you are from a statutory authority or an agency which is governed by a statutory authority please phone (01305 216423) before registering as there are limited places for delegates from non community and voluntary organisation.

Update for Statutory delegates 20/10/2010: Unfortunately places for statutory sector delegates are now full. If you would like to be added to the statutory sector delegate waiting list please email brett.prowse@dorsetcommunityaction.org.uk
