37 hours, from £23,340 to £26,760
6 Month Temporary Position to cover Maternity Leave

Do you have the skills, experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to work alongside communities and voluntary groups across East/West Dorset and Purbeck, advising and helping them identify needs, develop projects, network and grow in strength and influence. Experience of community development and/or capacity building with small groups and voluntary organisations is essential.

COMMUNITY RESOURCE WORKERS - NORTH DORSET

30 hrs - Gillingham, 30 hrs – Sturminster Newton, 14 hrs Blandford Forum
From £18,190 – £23,340 (pro rata 30 hrs £14,749 - £18,924 14 hrs £6,883 to £8,831)
plus 6% pension contribution, based in local Community Partnership offices

Could you work alongside communities and voluntary groups in North Dorset, providing them with information, resources and guidance for development of projects to meet local needs? Strong communication and organisational skills are essential. We are seeking enthusiastic and committed candidates interested in working as part of the Community Planning Team in one of two 30 hour a week posts in Gillingham and Sturminster Newton or a 14 hr a week job share post in Blandford Forum.
