DCA invites ALL voluntary organisations, community groups and not-for-profit organisations in Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole* to join DCA as members.

Being a Member of DCA

If your charitable, community or not-for-profit organisation is based in or works substantially in DCA’s area of benefit*, you are invited to complete and return the Membership Application Form  Please call 01305 250921 for more details.

Receipt of DCA’s Annual Review and Accounts

Opportunities to contribute to and receive Community News Magazine, 3 times a year, (discounted rates for Insert Mailing)

Responsibilities of Membership

DCA is a charitable company limited by guarantee. By signing the Application Form as a Member, you promise that in the event of the company being wound up you will be liable to pay a maximum of £1 towards its debts, should you be asked to do so.

* DCA’s charitable area of benefit is “old Dorset” which since 1997 became the separate authorities of Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole. DCA works closely in partnership with Bournemouth and Poole Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS) and encourages all voluntary and community organisations in Poole or Bournemouth, to join their local CVS.
