CLaRC - Quality, Affordable, Flexible room hire in central Dorset
The Community Learning & Resource Centre (CLaRC) in Wimborne opened in 2003 as a multipurpose venue providing a range of meeting facilities in the centre of the town of Wimborne. The building itself is a converted Victorian school which has been extensively refurbished providing five meeting rooms of varying sizes. CLaRC is fully accessible and is regularly used by customers with mobility difficulties and those with visual impairments. It is well maintained to a high standard throughout providing an atmospheric venue for both meetings and training.

After the success of starting her new Friday morning yoga class at the centre six months ago, local tutor Hayley Gummery has started another two classes at CLaRC, on Monday and Wednesday evenings. One of the reasons Hayley has been able to expand the business is having found a suitable and affordable venue, she explains: 'The hire charge at CLaRC is good value and enables small businesses like myself to keep working. A centre like this in central Wimborne is a blessing.'
Our facilitiesCLaRC has five rooms available for hire, the smallest seating 16 people and the largest seating up to 90. All of the rooms, with the exception of the Walford room, have carpeted floors and each is hired complete with whiteboard, flipchart, flipchart paper and pens. Care is taken to liaise with each customer prior to the date booked to ensure that the training room is ready for use upon their arrival. In addition if required, equipment can be hired and set up in advance.
